1. Introduction
The Ruach Chayah Bible College & Vocational Training Center (RCBVTC) welcomes applications from men and women who desire to grow spiritually, academically, and professionally.
Our dual-track admission system caters for:
- Pastors, ministers, and church leaders pursuing Theological and Christian Leadership training.
- General applicants seeking vocational, business, or technical skills to enhance their livelihood and service to the community.
2. Admission Categories
A. Theological and Ministry Training
Open to:
- Pastors, church leaders, missionaries, evangelists, and believers called to serve in ministry.
Courses Offered Include:
- Certificate, Diploma, and Degree in Theology
- Christian Counseling & Psychology
- Christian Leadership and Administration
- Christian Education and Pastoral Studies
Entry Requirements:
- Must be born again and demonstrate good Christian character.
- Minimum qualification: KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
- Must provide a pastoral recommendation letter and personal testimony of salvation and calling.
B. Vocational and Professional Training
Open to:
- Youths, adults, and community members seeking to acquire practical and marketable skills for empowerment and employment.
Courses Offered Include:
- Tailoring & Dressmaking
- Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy
- Electrical & Electronics Basics
- Computer Applications & IT Skills
- Entrepreneurship & Business Management
- Carpentry, Welding, and Craft Training
Entry Requirements:
- Open to anyone regardless of faith background, provided they demonstrate discipline and willingness to learn.
- Minimum qualification: Basic literacy (can read and write).
- Must present a national ID copy and two passport-size photos.
3. Application Procedure
- Obtain an Application Form
- Collect from the college office or download from the official website.
- Alternatively, request a digital copy via email or WhatsApp.
- Complete the Form
- Fill in all sections clearly.
- Indicate your preferred program (Theological or Vocational).
- Attach the Required Documents
- Copies of academic certificates or school results.
- Copy of national ID/passport.
- Two passport-size photos.
- Recommendation letter (for theological applicants only).
- Testimony (for theological applicants only).
- Submit the Application
- Pay the Non-Refundable Application Fee
- Ksh 2,000 for Certificate/Diploma applicants.
- Ksh 2,000 for Bachelor’s applicants (if applicable).
4. Admission Review and Interview
- The Admissions Committee reviews all applications.
- Vocational applicants may undergo a skills or interest assessment.
- Successful applicants receive an official Admission Letter and Joining Instructions.
5. Registration and Orientation
- Present original documents upon reporting.
- Sign the Student Code of Conduct and Registration Form.
- Pay the required semester or monthly tuition fees.
- Attend the Orientation Program, which introduces students to the college’s values, vision, and academic guidelines.
6. Learning Options
To accommodate diverse learners, RCBVTC offers:
- Full-time Classes (Day Program)
- Part-time / Weekend Classes
- Online and Satellite Classes (for Theology and Counseling students)
7. Intakes and Calendar
- January, May, and September – Main intakes for Theological Programs.
- Continuous Enrollment – For Vocational and Online Programs.
8. International Students
International applicants are welcome and must:
- Provide certified academic documents and passport copies.
- Meet English proficiency requirements.
- Receive guidance on student visa and accommodation arrangements.
